Picked this up on the recommendation of one Jolene Sugarbaker (the Trailer Trash Queen on YouTube). She had made the Potent Round Brownies, which is made with black beans instead of flour. I was intrigued. I made the brownies and they were fabulous. The other recipes I have yet to try but am looking forward to the pasta and soup recipes. Not a whole lot of fish recipes, and the salmon recipe is quite a no-brainer and probably didn't need to be included. However, the narratives and photos are quite nice and gives a nice slice of Estonian life, not that I was ever that interested in Estonia, but it's good to step out of your usual interests once in awhile. My husband is not much of a veggie lover, but I think I can modify many of these recipes to suite his tastes a bit more. Overall, a beautiful and engaging book.
